Raia Smith "HBIC"
Founder of Maroon Prestige
Raia is a Senior Business major from Atlanta, Georgia. She is the Captain and founder of Maroon Prestige. She creates uniforms, choreographs, and mixes music for the team. Her great leadership skills and unlimited creativity are what make her a well-rounded, and highly respected individual.
Her dedication to diversifying every space she walks into is what lead to the creation of this team. After noticing the lack of representation on the official dance team of A&M she was intimidated and wondered how many other girls who looked like her felt the same. "When you see something missing--create it" and that's exactly what she decided to do. Maroon Prestige has continued to be a safe space fostering body positivity and inclusivity.

Madison Saunders "Secret Weapon"
Co-Captain & Treasurer
Madison is a Junior Engineering major, from Atlanta, Georgia. She is an amazing Co-captain and leader, who has huge aspirations that specify in Aerospace engineering and has obtained her Pilot license. She choreographs and networks for the team. Her loving spirit is the glue that holds us together and she is the first recipient of the Prestige Award.
Madison is also a leader of diversity and holds multiple high positions in different organizations that foster and guide relationships within the African American community at A&M. These organizations include Excel & SBSLC.
Tierra R. "Ms. Glitz & Glam"
Tierra is a senior Business major, from Oakland, California. She puts 110% effort into everything she does, and has many admirable qualities.
*Tierra is also a member of the
TAMU Track & Field team.
Danielle Long "Regal"
Danni is a Forensic and Investigative Science/ Entomology major from Houston, Tx.
She exudes royalty through her poise and grace and continues to be a great role model for her younger peers.
LaDaja Shaw "Big Stepper"
LaDaja is a senior University Studies-Business major from Dallas, Tx (Oak Cliff). She commands the room through her power and energy. Her leadership and choreographing skills have helped shape the team

Nycollete Lane
is from Houston, Texas. She is a current junior with courses surrounding Biomedical Studies, as she plans to become a Veterinarian.
Preanka Jex "Princess"
Preanka is a Sophomore Economics Major from
Houston, Tx. She speaks 3 languages- Spanish, Creole, and English. She is a great supporter of the team, expects the best and NOTHING less from those around her.
Olivia Makanga "Star Power"
Olivia is a Sophomore Engineering major from Houston, Tx. She is an absolute joy to have on the team and she fosters a positive environment at practice. Her dancing makes her stand out in any crowd.
Shondalyn Moore "Shego"
Shondalyn is a freshman Meteorology major from
Marshall,Tx. She has a strong background in cheer and the spunky attitude to match. Her future on this team is bright and she will become a great leader.
